Summary

Vasker is deployed again to investigate political strife. This time, he discovers something much more nefarious than egomaniacal overreach and conspiracy. This time, with the help of his mystical wife Inarra, Vasker must gather allies to unravel a plot laid by evil forces from other worlds.

Setting

Drannor : seven regional dukedoms

  • Saint Germaine - southernmost, southern goods, crime, powerful thieves guild,
  • Saint William - run by benevolent council of mothers, cleanliness, showers for visitors
  • Saint Norbert - high limestone walls, stench, booze, female assassins
  • Luxor - on a huge lake, well run, orderly, clean
  • Saint Cuthbert - Citizen Cards, entrepreneurial, strong military to repel pirates
  • Saint Vincent - monk ascetics, streets here are often deserted, and a layer of ice often encrusts everything
  • Nottingham old capital, king missing, dukes are autonomous for decades

Characters / NPCs

There are dozens of potential crossovers with old campaigns (Infiltrators, Affairs of State, Ignoble Assets, Frost Guard, Blood on the Snow, Uncertain Allies, SellSwords, etc...)
