Sirus Donovak

In Secrets of Serenton, Sirus is a skilled ranger and assassin who is a member of the Guild of Shadows.

Biography

Sirus was born in a small village near the Iron Hills. Son of a leatherworker, Sirus has a fairly normal childhood. On a warm summers night when Sirus was 7, a band of orcs came in and pillaged Sirus's village. Sirus was able to take refuge high above the trees whilst this was going on. A lost child, Sirus didn't know what to do, he waited in the trees for a week before finally a ranger from the Guild of Shadows investigating the raid, spotted him. The ranger asked him to come down, but Sirus stubbornly refused. The ranger decided to go up and get the boy, however, although famished and fatigued, Sirus was able to elude the ranger within the trees. The ranger saw potential in Sirus's agility and nimbleness and left to get the boy some food and water. He came back a day later with something for the boy to eat and drink. He offered refuge for the young child. Though timid, Sirus eventually came down from the tree and joined the ranger. At that point, Sirus's training began.
