Rudolph Kaiser

Emerald Emir operative, husband of Katerina and father of Caroline.

Family bodyguard Jarod Goldschmidt told the party in the Ur campaign that Rudolph fell in combat with bandits in the Forgotten Hills.

However, he was rescued by Craylock and Majesto in the Tien Lun Forest, where Rudolph was working in a village as a blacksmith, his memory of his previous life mysteriously erased. Once Craylock's magics restored those memories, he spoke of seeking the Diadem of True Seeing, and upon acquiring it, being approached by a beautiful red-haired woman. He was enchanted, and willfully gave the artifact to her, and immediately lost all memory of his past or identity.

Upon his return to Heidelberg in the early spring of '08, after a couple weeks of downtime with his wife and daughter, he re-entered the High Council and became a candidate for Governor.

Father Rudolph was a swashbuckling hero, a 'special forces' operative employed by various 
mysterious and noble causes, finally coming to sit on the Council of Lords in Heidelberg 
when he was 39. Three years later, when Caroline was 16, he went on a mission to unknown 
destinations defined by the Emerald Emir. That was 6 years ago.
