Emerald Emir

The Emerald Emir is a powerful but well-cloaked secret society in the Ra Delta, primarily headquartered north of Zogby but with operatives throughout the East. They are known also as the Keepers of Akhad and focus on (locating and) destroying or controlling the Akhad's armor, and possibly other powerful evil artifacts.

Their governing body is known as the Mad Elders in Zogby.

It is said that they are dubbed such because there was an ancient emerald colored dragon who helped defeat Akhad and scatter the armor, then worked with some powerful adventurers (who likely aided in some way with the demise of Akhad) to form the Emerald Emir. Finding any solid records of said dragon or its relations with any historic adventurers is very difficult.
