Background

Charlotte was born in Southern England to an upper-class family. She did well in school, but wanted adventure, so she joined the British Army (Scottish Division) after high school, where she was trained in military combat, weaponry, and how to get out of bed when you don't want to. She rose above her peers quickly and was recruited to MI6 to work in Intelligence after only three years. It was there that she had further training with weapons and in hand-to-hand combat (both armed and unarmed) to go along with her intelligence work.

She spent three years in Russia working as a spy for the Crown when she was double-crossed by her partner. The Russians threw her in prison, where she spent 6 months before finally escaping. She made her way back to headquarters in London, where she was surprised to learn that they thought her to be dead. Charlotte wanted back in, but it was hard for her to trust another partner, so they let her go. Since her parents already thought her dead, she took the severance money she was given and headed to Europe; traveling around until she found her current team in Romania.
