Tanya Velazquez (shaven-head, busty, shorts, white tank top, combat boots, big knife, 
camel-back).  she is from the year 5345, served two years in earth's marine corp, and then 
went on a two-year planet settlement survival course. after a year of classroom learning, 
she was on her first expedition-- after a month-long journey to a gate, through which she 
was sent with whatever she wanted to bring (knife, camelback). she knew it would be 
temperate and survivable.
