Scorched Plains

A broad swath of inhospitable flatlands south of the Zitijan Steppe, interspersed with occasional oases, poisonous mudpots, and scalding geysers.

Its northern reaches, beyond the Spice Road, are also known as Kahzak.

To the west, the Scorched Hills offer little comfort, while its eastern region is gradually more verdant as one approaches the Nesratu Basin.
