Sage Thornwood

In Middle Earth, Mel's character.

Sage Thornwood's father was the leader of the White Guard and died during the battle to defeat Sauron. Like her father she has the ability to read people's minds and is very talented at military tactics and strategy. They were both part of the special division of the White Guard called The Divine Legion. The Divine Legion is made up of mind readers who also have great military talents and are somewhat treated as outcasts by general society due to their ability to read minds. Lay people and those that distrust magic are uneasy around them.

Since the defeat of Sauron Sage has been staying at the castle that the Divine Legion calls home. After her father died her mother became very ill and has recently been buried after she killed herself. Sage has been practicing her ability with older and more experienced members of the Divine Legion and brushing up on her sword skills.
