Encountered in Darkness Rising, a warrior of a region he refers to as the Golden Basin.

I lived in a land of evil kings, fabulous riches, saucy wenches, and powerful armies. I was a wanderer, and thief, and lover, and warrior, and made my share of enemies with fork-tongued warlocks. For decades I rode the verdant fields of the Golden Basin with pride and honor, but one of the many sorcerers who fell to my blade returned after his bloody death to drag me here. I know not who, but if I ever...."
After enjoying himself in Talathese, catching up on all the good sensations he'd missed while elsewhere, he later turned up in Cormire during TBA_-_John#Awakening.
