Akhad's armor
The armor has been 'inoculated' by Gideon and remains in the possession of the Mad Elders in Zogby.
Akhad was a legendary warrior who vanquished a great evil at some point in the far distant past. His success granted him great power that eventually corrupted him and he was defeated and his legendary armor scattered throughout the world. There is a legend that once the pieces of Akhad's armor are reunited, that his spirit will be reborn and wreak its revenge. In addition to the forces of chaos and evil, the armor is sought after in particular by the Emerald Emir.
In the Book of Legends, the story goes:
The legend says that he who wears the boots will be led inexorably to that which he seeks,
and that only the strongest will can resist akhad's appetite for absolute power. And, a
breakdown of the focus of powers in the armor:
helmet: leadership, strategy, tactics, charisma gauntlets: strength, prowess with weapons boots: grace, movement, speed, balance breastplate: defense, protection, will, stamina
naturally, they are also more than the sum of their parts..
The legend says once his armor was assembled, he was so powerful, and such a megalomaniac, that he sought to unseat an unnamed spirit said to be responsible for ensuring the orderly passage of time in the world. This hubris was his undoing, but the spirit was unable to destroy the armor, and hence scattered it to the corners of the continent.
