Background

Drawn to antiques since he was very young, perhaps never really knowing why, Arizona eventually went into archaeology and anthropology and did what anyone who has degrees in these fields, he learned to teach. At first, his obsession with the occult and ancient occult artifacts rumored to have mystical powers was nothing more than an inconvenience. After a series of misadventures on his own, he met Charles MacDonald, a lower level Bureaucrat who manages customs issues and antiquities transfers in the UK. Arizona helped Charles deal with some difficult situations and thus began a relationship masked by a small antique shop owned by Arizona.

During his travels, Arizona was alerted to several tomb robbers, scavengers and thieves that acquire antiques in any way they can and sell them to the highest bidder. Chief among them is Elise Cromwell and her crew. Despite numerous attempts to persuade her to change her mind, or perhaps fueled by them, the relationship between her and Arizona has become blurred somewhere between bitter rivals and a strange attraction.
