Scorched Hills

Rocks and dunes rise from the Muhtenkhamen Desert and Scorched Plains to form a 300-mile wide region of rocky pinnacles, old jagged lava fields, and forbidden caves in these hills.

In Dragonslayers, Ashalar Shalaya led the party two hours south of the Spice Road to a hidden oasis with a clear spring-fed cool pond with trout surrounded by groves of pomegranate, fig, and date trees. However, certain elements of the encounter seemed steeped in mystical enchantments.
