Similar to Darkwood, Greenwood was indeed once part of the larger forest until the march of civilization separated the two. One of the last colonies of treants exists here, as well as the expected evil denizens of dark and mysterious forests, causing the occasional loss of inadequately defended ferries on the North River between Nottingham and Saint Vincent.
