== Background ==
 
Kemble's mother [[Shakira Coyote|Shakira]] is an elven druid/herbalist/witch who lives in a woody grove on a rocky bluff just inland from a fishing village called [[Salthome]], a few miles south of [[Serenton]]. His [[Dresden Blastrik|father]] was a [[Serentonian_Guards|Serentonian Guard]], who would blow into town with buddies every few months and treat his mother and other local women poorly.
 
Kemble was a rapscallion as a kid, a mischievous trickster, and led a small crew of other kids in petty thefts and pranks in the village.
 
Once his voice changed and potential consequences grew more serious, his mother advised he move on to the big city. There, he found more precious loot and has lived a life of occasional thievery and fun, leading to his Reputation among the guards. There's never any evidence to arrest him, but they just know he's up to something.
 
Kemble crossed paths with his father some years back.  Now on his deathbed, nobody knows why the grizzled guard fell ill.
 
Kimball has been acquiring materials for [[Abacaneeser]] for the past few years. Between the herb lore his mother taught him, and his natural proclivity for thievery, it's been a productive relationship.

Background
