Along the shores of the [[Sea of Death]] in the [[Endless Waste]], the Keep of Hashir was once a great fortress owned by an emperor of what was then known as The Golden Basin. At some point, Hashir asked his grand sorceror [[Zalshir]] to conduct his research outside the keep, as he was toying with dangerous forces. Zalshir relocated his research 200 miles out into the dusty plains.

In the [[Superheroes]] campaign, an army of Githyanki began renovating the fortress and discovered one of the [[Luma Stones]] within -- this newfound power provoked their timeless enemies the Githzerai to build a warcamp some miles away to attack -- a grand battle ensued with massive losses on all sides.
