Having left the world when the ancients were being slaughtered, the race of the Leonin fled with a few of the ancient magical beings known as the Atum. Taking their kingdom of floating islands far into the heavens and magically scry-blocking it to hide, the feline humanoids also worked with the Atum to erase their existence from the memory of man and hence the empire. | |||
Now, over a century later, one of the two remaining Atum in the lofty kingdom of Azzurram has sensed a disturbance in the lands of man below and has convinced the Leonin Triumvirate to send down scouts to investigate the nature of the magical anomaly. Shier is one of those scouts. | |||
