The Left Boot of Akhad

The left boot of Akhad is a minor relic that houses a small echo of the legendary hero's soul. Once the boot is dawned, it draws the wearer unknowingly toward the other boot, unless both are worn. The wearer will not consciously know they are going in any general direction, but they will conveniently find reasons to continue their journey toward the right boot. The armor, housing an echo of the hero’s soul, creates a sort of magnetism between the boots. The chaotic nature of Akhad has been imbued into his armor (chaotic neutral), but its full power only exists when the suit is whole.

The boot functions as a normal plate mail boot, for movement purposes, although it is, as of yet indestructible. The boot does, however, retain some minor powers which may be beneficial:

- Adds a cumulative 5% magic resistance. - Immunity to slipping or sliding caused by any non-magical or magical means. This boot will have traction on any surface. The boot, however, does not assist in climbing unless the surface to be climbed is slick. The DM must keep in mind that only the boot will not slide. The wearers other foot and hands may very well not find purchase. It does not allow the wearer to defy gravity and walk up walls or on a ceiling.
