Human swordsman in Uncertain Allies, played during the prologue by Melissa.

Intro

Highway robbery has never been so good. Having put together Krog, the half-blood brute, and Anis, the elven archer, and procured the magical bracers, then using them to capture the dragon man you feel like you’re the real brains of this operation. Recalling your recent scheme of taking the dragon-man prisoner with your net and using it as a distraction for other merchants peels your cracked lips back in a grotesquely proud smile. Every time you plant the chained monster in the middle of the road and see the shock on the merchants faces you cannot help but giggle. The imbecile Krog argued the hazards of the beast with you until you out-witted him enough that the haughty elf laughed. Frustrated, the brute went to the prisoner and beat his anger out on the red scaled prisoner. Since, his frustrations have been quelled by your recent success and wealth. The magical bracers you stole from a merchant after he told you of their power and you knifed him in the back. If one wears both, they do little other than look fancy and protect ones wrists. If there are separate wearers, he who wears the bracer embossed with a rose can inflict intense pain on he who wears the asp embossed. Additionally, the rose is bound to the asp, such that if the asp dies, so shall the rose. You’ve recently been allowing Krog and Anis to have turns wearing the controlling rose bracer, both to display your trust in them as well as to minimize your risk on the off chance that a merchant guard kills the dragon-man and the wearer of the rose.

Your recent tactics have been to keep the dragon-man chained and lead it into the road in front of approaching merchants, before removing the bag from it’s head. When the wagon(s) stop, you and Krog attack from the sides as Anis covers from the rear with arrows. Loot, escape, feed the dragon-man enough food to keep it alive, then continue about your rougish ways until another heist.
