In Initiates, a silver dragon of The Fangs.

GM Notes:

The terrifying white dragon, the size of an elephant with 100' wingspan, swoops several times, creating a wing buffet that will throw most on ground

Suddenly, a projectile the size of a bowling ball blasts through one of the dragon's wings and pulverizes some scales. The beast tumbles, screeching, and then flies off, bits of scale still dropping.

Wind stops, trees return to motionless. Silence

Silence as the party regains their feet.

And then, an absurdly handsome muscular elf wearing a Roman style tunic leaps superhuman down a rocky descent and introduces himself

Silver dragon KAZAT (composed of mirror-like scales that reflect constantly, creating a shimmering invisibility and reflected light phenomenon) chases off a marauding white dragon on a snowfield...knocks it down and knocks off a few scales....

KAZAT had a friendship for some reason with Ena many years ago, has watched over initiates.... Where is she? Her staff?

KAZAT is sensitive and saddened and concerned by the report of Ena's demise. He was fond of her, and they sometimes chatted from afar on her annual pilgrimages into the forest below...

If given the chance to see the memory... disturbed. "My mother told me this could happen someday... a world out of balance, the peaceful realms of humans, elves, dwarves, and others, thrown into chaos by the VOIDBRINGERS."

A long sigh. And pause....

[he looks you each over]

Children. You must be weary of your travels and saddened by your loss. You must be so looking forward to going back to homecooked meals and your own warm beds.

But it shall not be.

As tragic as it was, what you witnessed at the Legacy Tree is just the beginning, if these alien marauders are allowed to expand. They must be stopped.

To say nothing of the loss of High Priestess Ena's staff, which has been revered by the Temple of Celeste for many lifetimes. She would not want you to return without it.

It may not be so sweet to your ears, but I sense that you -- each of you -- has been chosen for this. Made for this. Meant for this.

Now these are affairs of two-legged peoples of the Gurth, not the drakes of the high mountains. But I will grant you a boon to begin unraveling the mystery of the Voidbringers' appearance.

For hidden lore such as this, there are few better sources than the Elder Druids. To reach them, you'll need a guide.

Climb on.

Higher purpose advantage: - Darcy - extirpate the Voidbringers - Harold - close the hellgates - Sajad - protect & defend attacks on Harold and Darcy

Offers a ride, during which he advises all to plug your ears (deep resonant boom that must travel many miles)

Epic view for hours, cold wind, cresting the fangs, gliding descent to look out at a plateau of scraggly trees, rocky hills...ancient lava flows, cracks and canyons, arid and rugged and apparently uninhabited

Headed for One pointed rise of dark volcanic rock, on approach there's a strange wagon with a.... Leather Sail on it?

And standing atop the rise, a shirtless, powerfully built, white bearded man, waving.
