Saffron Stop is located 5 hours south of Argyle along the road to Camlin. Located on the edge of the Thornwood, Saffron Stop is known for its lumbermill and boisterous inhabitants. Taverns and markets line the streets, and although the population is less than robust, the town is known for some of its annual festivals, including the annual festival for the town's namesake herb, the Solstice Saffron Festival, where elaborate dishes and dyed fabrics highlight the ancient herb's versatility.
