Of unknown origin, this powered individual with his golden metallic skin and seemingly titanic strength appeared on the scene in southern California a few years back and seems to be altruistic, but also egocentric. He is a widely publicized "hero" who helps the LAPD deal with not only run-of-the-mill crimes, but also the bigger criminals with powers, who crop up from time to time. He has shown his smiling shining face on public service announcements and for ads for various automobile waxes and such products.
