Campaign Background
An elite group of monster hunters has an uneasy but working relationship with Emperor Jun-Wei in Kozu. The Emperor prefers to demonstrate his power to the commoners when threats emerge, but sometimes he must outsource. This is most evident when the threat is a supernatural beast that his talented soldiers cannot vanquish.
Known now by commoners as "The Dawn's Claws", some of the team's notable victories over the years include:
- The Hundred-Armed Ape Lord
- The Swamp Butcher
- The Twin Terror Tigers of White Fang Pass
What Happened
The Behemoth
The trade route between Gozu and Kali-Shaza has been disrupted by a massive beast, with a fortune in delicate cargo destroyed. Gozu sends Imperial Enforcers to find the Monster Hunters, known regionally as "Dawn's Claws", to deal with the issue.
