mountains ahead, into the mountains, its summer but still some snow in shady spots, colder, forested valleys, craggy peaks, mountain goats, descent (or, rising land), awkward landing at a pass overlooking a bowl of rock 10 miles across, surreally craggy, with narrow fingers of black rock jutting up, deep fissures, zero vegetation, and the ruins of a small castle in the center.
 
ANTI-MAGIC ZONE... SPELLS CAST AT -5 AND COST TWICE AS MUCH - mages will feel this -- and it costs them stamina periodically -- the stronger the mage, the more severe
 
 
One haggard, gaunt giant, undead (no extra damage from impaling, organs, brain, etc), walking in a slow circle around the keep, leaving a trail of smooth stone in the dust. He's 30' tall, 4d+4 crushing with his tree trunk, attacking every other round. 100HP, 50 to sever a limb. SM+4  -- crumbles into dust upon expiration -- and SMILES IN GRATITUDE. (he will begin reconstituting later....)
