It is a circle of fire pits and crude stone shelters, at the edge of a stand of hardy old trees (supporting some game, and providing firewood), overlooking a dramatic stretch of the [[River Ra]] as it plummets 1000 vertical feet in just over a mile on its way into the desert. 			In busy, profitable years when the weather cooperates, some enterprising merchants set up shop here for part of the year, just to do business with passing caravans.
