			At a Columbian drug-lord's fortified compound, Sonny assaulted a guard house and killed four bad guys before being shot through the back of the head. Slowed down but not stopped, he went on infiltrate a manned helicopter, and had to hit the deck to avoid being shredded by a guard's AK-47. While lying prone right in front of his attacker, he did an epic push-up and threw 2 punches into the gunman's groin, incapacitating him. Sonny then took out seven more thugs, scooped up Sascha, and flew the helicopter to safety.

			Sonny grew up the son of an abusive, chain-smoking, hard-drinking general contractor in the sprawling industrial city of Houston, Texas. Sonny was encouraged to settle disputes with his fists, and was provided with Karate and Boxing lessons from an early age.

			A high school dropout, Sonny began competing in boxing matches as a teenager and eventually was attracted to the "Ultimate Fighting" league. With a record of 20-5, he achieved the title Southeast Regional Light Heavyweight Champion at the age of 19. At the national championship, a smaller, less experienced fighter shattered Sonny's femur in the first ten seconds of the first match, leaving him in a wheelchair for four months.
