The fist of Akhad is a minor relic that houses a small echo of the legendary hero's soul. The first character that touches the gauntlet is instantly brought into the relic's psyche, and has a short encounter with Akhad himself. This can occur only once, and afterward, the player recalls nothing of the encounter.

The chaotic nature of Akhad has been imbued into his armor (chaotic neutral), but its full power only exists when the suit is whole. The gauntly does, however, retain some minor powers:
* The invulnerability of the gauntlet gives its user a +1 to Armor Class.
* Cast cure light wounds once per day.
* 10% immunity to fear.
* Strength (in the gauntleted hand only) is raised to 22 (damage bonus only) - i.e. the character will only be able to use the supernatural strength if performing hand actions (grabbing, crushing, twisting, etc.). Bending bars, lifting objects, punching, wielding weapons, etc, are a primarily dependant on other muscles, and therefore the gauntlet's ability will not apply. Furthermore, the 'to hit' bonus of a 22 strength assumes that the creature as a whole has that strength and also does not apply with this portion of the gauntlet.
* 10% magic resistance.
Dangers (if bowl was chosen):
Alignment gradually becomes that of the item.
