	Marcus is an inventor/engineer who works on steam engines and small arms. He works around town on whatever projects he can get. Whenever he is not at work, he can be found in his office working on another small project, smoking his cigar and drinking some wine. Every now and then he is know to host a seance party, were everyone sits around and tries to contact a ghost while telling scary stories. He likes to go on hikes and hunt small game with his buddies. ==Background==

Marcus Wells comes from a middle class family. Growing up he was always tinkering with small devices, and at a young age was able to obtain an engineering apprenticeship with Professor [[Meriwether Lewis]]. Prof Meriwether worked for [[Lady Vanderbilt]].

When Marcus first met Lady Vanderbilt she recognized something in him. After working with the Lady and the Professor for 5 years she offer to pay for his studies in exchange for work. His studies have long been complete and now has been working on and off with the Lady for nearly 20 years or so.
