			She grew up fast, much faster than the other elf children, and soon towered over everyone else in the village, while children born the same summer were knee-high.

			She was a typical arrogant elf, but also brutish, callous, and mean, without the appreciation for natural beauty common in elves.

			The village tried to accept her, but eventually the leadership met and a vote was held. One contingent favored her death, another her acceptance, and another favored banishment.

			The next day, Leeza's mother's sister was chosen to lead the girl to the [[Spice Road]] and send her on her way.

			During that trek, Auntie Aubra taught the adolescent Leeza several useful charms, including ''Agonize'', ''Ecstasy'', and ''Paralyze Limb''. She explained that outside Llellywn, men would want to possess her, and that these charms would be helpful in escaping abuse.

			Left alone at the side of the road with instructions to join whatever caravan came along next, a despondent Leeza sat for two days.

			Days later, wandering the [[Twisted Forest]], alone and hungry, she ran into [[Grackle]] and his mongrel-man cohorts. They became friends, and within a day or two, Leeza was leading the small group, most of whom were infatuated with her.

			Gradually, the group grew, and discovered the hidden valley north of the [[Spice Road]].
